Facility Use Policy

 

Peace Lutheran Church Groups

Peace Lutheran small groups such as Bible studies may use the facilities at no cost as long as they schedule activities through the pastor, church secretary, or church council. All groups are requested to pick up and clean up after their activity.

Individual Members of Peace Lutheran Church

Individual members may use the facilities at no charge when the use is for family-related spiritual purposes such as weddings and funerals as long as the usage is scheduled through the pastor, church secretary, or church council.

Individual members may use the facilities at a charge based on Rate Schedule A when the use is for the convenience of the member and the member collects a fee, admission charge or solicits contributions or offerings as a result of the activity. If no fees result from the use of the facilities, there will be no charge to the member. All such meetings or activities must have prior approval of the pastor or church council.

Non-Members of Peace Lutheran Chruch

Community groups whose members involve school-age children and whose leaders or advisors are non-paid adults may use the facilties at no charge. The church council must approve such usage. The church’s Executive Committee may approve a one-time use prior to consideration of a request by the church council.

Groups, including those which may be “for profit” may utilize the facilities at a charge based on Rate Schedule B. Such usage must have prior approval by the church council.

Individual non-members may use the facilities at a charge based on Rate Schedule B when the use is for spiritual purposes. The activity must be scheduled through the pastor, church secretary or church council. Individual non-members may use the facilities at a charge based on Rate Schedule B for other uses with prior approval of the church council.
